Ben Franklin actually captured lightning in a jar. He captured electrical charges in a Leyden jar, which is 1700s-speak for “I bottled lightning before it was cool.” Back then, it referred to trapping a wild, powerful force.

Today, we use it to describe nailing that once-in-a-blue-moon magic: a viral launch, a perfect client fit, a product that actually sells itself.

You know that moment when everything just clicks? The pitch lands, the crowd cheers, your website doesn’t crash, and your brand finally feels like it’s saying what you meant all along?

That’s lightning in a bottle.

In business, we chase that magic every day. Not with kites and keys (insurance doesn’t cover that), but with strategy, design, and a healthy dose of brand therapy. Because lightning doesn’t strike twice, unless you’ve got a system for attracting storms.

So, if your business has been feeling a little too safe, a little too… grounded, maybe it’s time to build the kind of brand that’s meant to spark
